GDAMS Social media storm

25/04/2022 @ 8:00 am - 1:30 pm

This is the big one. The release of the latest SIPRI global military spending figures gives us a fantastic opportunity to highlight the dangers of runaway military spending and the opportunity costs of diverting public resource from public health, common security and the climate crisis. Last year, by working together globally the storm ‘reached’ over 100 million twitter accounts, we hope to build on the success further this year. The final details including the hashtag and shared resources will be kept under wraps until the 21st April, when they will be shared via our mailing list.
