Webinar: Gastos Militares para Gastos Sociales (in Spanish)

On May 5th (18:30 Central European Time) we will be participating in the webinar on Military spending for social spending, in order to speak about how current levels of military expenditure conditions our responses to the global emergencies of our time. Speakers include: Chloé Meulewaeter talking about the latest trends in global military spending, Diego Checa talking about alternatives to armament for the transformation of conflicts from nonviolence, Rosario Granado presenting the platform “Stop arms fair in Seville” and finally Jorge Guardiola talking about Peace economy.

The conference is supported by the Instituto de la Paz y los Conflictos – IPAZ, University of Granada, Centre Delàs of Peace Studies and the International Peace Bureau.

This webinar will be framed in the year of the II IPB World Peace Congress in Barcelona the 15, 16 and 17 of October and the Global Days of Action on Military Spending (GDAMS) of the GCOMS campaigning.
